Pain Management
Jake Poulter, M.D. received his medical degree from the University of Utah. He continued his postdoctoral training with a residency in anesthesia, and a fellowship in chronic pain management.
As a specialist who provides pain relief, Dr. Poulter will see patients who suffer from lower-back problems, arthritis, cancer, repetitive stress injuries, headaches or fibromyalgia, as well as nerve injury from diabetes, shingles, infections, operations, amputation or other neurological conditions.
Originally from Rigby, Dr. Poulter is excited to be coming home to Idaho with his family. Some of his hobbies include professional writing and presentations, research, karate, scouting, and the great outdoors.
Marc Porot, M.S. M.D. is a highly-experienced and board-certified anesthesiologist with a subspecialty in pain management. He completed an internship in both internal medicine and pediatrics, and an anesthesia residency and fellowship at UCLA.
Dr. Porot has been in the private practice of anesthesiology and pain management for over twenty years. In Blackfoot Dr. Porot has a pain management clinic that specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic pain.
Dr. Porot employs state of the art procedures and therapies to alleviate pain. He works in concert with each patient's doctor to determine the best possible solution for their pain.

Neurology
Elizabeth Gerard, M.D. graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She was the Chief Resident at the University of Colorado in the Dept. of Neurology and also completed a fellowship at the University of Colorado in Clinical Neurophysiology/Epilepsy.
Dr. Gerard has over 10 years experience in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis, migraines and strokes. She is also a member of the Idaho Pain Group which helps people who suffer from chronic pain find relief through a multidiscipline approach.
She's the mother of two children and enjoys running and cross country skiing. She's also a soccer coach!
